Violet "Muriel" Tucker

Violet Muriel Curtin Tucker, age 79, of Brandywine, Maryland passed away on August 2, 2021. Violet "Muriel" was born on April 2, 1942 to her loving parents: Jerome Curtin and Margaret Stella [Bryan] Curtin. She graduated from Frederick Sasscer High School. She started her career with Maryland State Judiciary Prince George's County Circuit Court Juvenile Division right out of high school in 1958; until she retired in July 1999. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, stepmother and Godmother. She enjoyed watching game shows, doing puzzle books, cooking, and listening to country music. Although, she got her greatest enjoyment from spending time with her family, friends and children. Violet "Muriel" is preceded in death by her parents: Jerome and Margaret Curtin; brothers: Francis Curtin, Andrew B. Curtin and Clyde Curtin; sisters: Rosemarie Lawson, Roberta Green, Ellen Holt, Elaine Webb and Jean Lewandowski. Violet "Muriel" is survived by her siblings: Jerome A. Curtin of Upper Marlboro, MD, Barbara Baboolal of North Beach, MD and Joan Mabe of Whitwell, TN; along with a host of nieces, nephews, additional family and friends. Honorary pallbearers include: Richard Ganyon, Chris Ganyon, Mitch Curtin, Richard Tucker (Allan), Jerome A. N. Curtin and Bailey Curtin.
