Violet Adele Suit

Violet Adele Suit, 98, of Leonardtown, MD passed away on July 2, 2022 at St. Mary’s Nursing Center Leonardtown, MD. Born on August 6, 1923 in Chester, IL to the late Robert Simon Dorn and Emma Helena Bruns Dorn. She was the loving wife of the late Lloyd Suit whom she met at a dance and married on August 5, 1944 in Davidsonville, MD.

Violet graduated from Sparta High School in Sparta, IL in 1942. After graduation she moved to St. Louis, MO to attend Sanford-Brown Business College. She then moved to Washington, D.C. and worked for the Veterans Administration as a secretary.

Violet is survived by her son, Bob (Sue) of Stevens, PA, daughter, Joan of Leonardtown, MD, daughter-in-law, Jan of Rockville, MD. Grandchildren; John Jr. (Melissa) of Rockville, MD, Jennifer Suit (Clarence Dang) of Los Angeles, CA. Great-Grandchildren; John III and James Suit and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son John. Siblings; Eleanor Moll, Juel, John, Udell, Gerald, Geraldine Johnson and Doyne.

The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert 8200 Jennifer Lane Owings, MD 20736 on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM where a Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will following at Epiphany Cemetery 3111 Ritchie Road Forestville, MD 20747.
