Virginia Herring Sunseri

Virginia Olive Sunseri died on Friday August 26th 2016. She was the wife of the late Henry Marvin Sunseri and daughter of the late William and Olive Herring. After moving from her hometown, where she was born and raised in Accident, MD. Virginia enlisted and served in The US Army Nurses Corp. during WWII. She lived in The DC/MD area for the last 77 years of her life. Mrs. Sunseri retired after 40 years, serving her community as a Registered Nurse. She had several interest to include being a long time member of The Oxon Hill Quilting Club. Virginia has two children, Marie Sunseri and the late John Sunseri. Grandmother of Donna Smith, Angela Malarkey, Mike Sunseri and the late Jerry King: Great Grandmother of Amanda Moore, Joshua King, Alex King, Miranda Smith, Travis Smith, Megan Smith, Frank Stewart, Tyler Smith & Deja Jackson and Great Great Grandmother of Aiden King, Hailey Moore & Nicole King. In addition, she is survived by her sister, Alice Sarah Herring Deal and predeceased by her sister and brothers; Mildred Herring Lollar and Charles William, John Wesley, Walter O'Neil &Frank George Herring. Virginia requested at her passing that donations be made in lieu of flowers to The Grace Brethren Church.
