Upper Marlboro - Virginia “Virge” Cenon Tisdale, a long-time resident of the Upper Marlboro area, died of natural causes Friday the 27th of March 2020 at her residence. She was seventy years old. Born on the 13th of September 1949 in Quezon City Philippines, Virginia married Master Sergeant Calvin Curtis Tisdale and began their lives together. They traveled the world while on active duty in the United States Air Force and settled in Southern Maryland in the early nineties where they raised their two children - Derrick Lamont Tisdale and Candice Aquino Tisdale. Virginia was a beautiful person inside and out who loved caring for her family, enjoyed good food, dancing, socializing, and had a sense of humor that could light up a room. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and made everyone feel like a part of her family. Her beauty was complimented by her signature knee-length hair and infectious smile. She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-nine years, two children, and grandson.
