Walter Joseph Misiorek Jr.

Walter J. Misiorek Jr. (Wally) died at his home in Cheltenham, MD on September 15, 2020. He was born on 2/14/1941 in New Haven, CT to Walter Misiorek Sr. and Vera Misiorek. He served in the US Marine Corps, then went to work for Washington Gas. He soon joined the Steamfitters, Local 602 where he worked for the rest of his career. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid New York Giants fan. The story of his life however was his family. He married Mary Lloyd on January 22, 1966 and they spent 52 wonderful years together before her passing in 2018. He had three sons, three daughter in laws and 5 grandchildren that he spoiled. He is survived by his brother, Michael, his sons, Walter and Gregory, daughter in laws, Naoko, Shannon and Susan, and his beloved grandchildren, Jessica, Ty, Gregory, Erin and Wil. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary and son, Mark. In lieu of flowers the church has requested that flowers not be sent to limit COVID delivery exposure.
