Walter Dawson Phillips

Walter Dawson Phillips, 53, of Accokeek, MD died at home on March 28, 2016 after a long illness. He was the beloved son of David and Ruth Phillips, Brother of David C. and Richard H. Phillips, Uncle of John D., Charles W., Michael S., and Kevin J. Phillips, Nephew of Alice P. Loughry, Paula P. Shaner (deceased), Irene Leland, John Dawson (deceased), Charles Dawson (deceased), Edward Dawson, and Frederick Dawson. Walter was an avid Elvis, Redskins, and original Star Trek fan. After initial gifts of stocks from his Grandmother Elsie Phillips and Uncle Charles Dawson, Walter became an avid investor, watching the PBS Business Report every weekday night. Walter showed that the Stock Market was open to all and his disability became a gift. Walter worked for CHI, Inc. as a Community Support Living Aide (CSLA) for his brother Richard for 20+ years.
