Wanda Elaine Henderson

Wanda Henderson, of Upper Marlboro, MD passed peacefully on October 13, 2022 at age 76.

Born in Walterboro, SC the only child of Elisabeth O'Quinn Saunders and Ellison D. Saunder. As a teenager, Wanda's father died suddenly. SHe moved to Beaufort, SC attending and graduating high school. She attended the University of Florida, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

Wanda worked for the IRS, auditing tax accounts. She later worked as a CPA, providing tax accounting services.

Wanda's love for dogs led her to an avoacation as a Professional Handler. Breeding and showing Doberman Pinshers. Wanda also had a love for flowers, tree and vegetable gardening. She brought beauty to the extensive gardens at the home she shared with her husband, displaying her Crepe Myrtle and Japanese Maple Trees.

Wanda enjoyed walking her dogs and going to church where she loved singing inthe choir an dalso helped with the bookeeping duties.

Survived by her beloved husband, Michael Henderson; Wanda also enjoyed the times she spend with her sister-in-law's Mary and Janita and brother-in-law Paul.
