Ward "Jay" A. Albro, Jr. of Huntingtown, MD, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the age of 47.Jay was born on March 26, 1968 in Cheverly, MD to Brenda (Lambert) and Ward A. Albro, Sr. Jay grew up in Upper Marlboro, MD and attended Frederick Douglas High School and the University of Maryland.Jay and Deborah married in 1990. They lived in Upper Marlboro until moving to Huntingtown in 1997. His life focused on his family. He coached the Dunkirk Warriors football team, giving guidance to his boys and others. Jay enjoyed entertaining his friends, socializing and having fun. He was very proud of the Tiki Bar he built and going to Mexico Restaurant for margaritas. He loved to travel to Aruba and partaking in the table games. He tried to live a healthy life and participated in weight lifting on a regular bases. His work as a security consultant helped him to make everyone around him feel less hurried, stressed and safer. He was a quiet, laid back and relaxed man. The joy he brought to so many will be greatly missed.Jay was the beloved husband of Deborah Ann (Nappi) Albro and the loving and devoted father of Justin and Ryan. He is also survived by his parents – Ward and Brenda Albro, sisters – Vicki DeFelice and Cindi Smolarsky, Mamaw, Gladys Lambert, father and mother-in-law -Vinnie and Susan Nappi.
