Wayne A Tippett

Wayne Allen Tippett, 75, of Sunderland, Maryland passed away July 11, 2024 at Med Star Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D. C. with his love ones by his side. Born on September 27, 1948 he was the son of the late Wade A. Tippett and Nettie A. (Hynson) Tippett. Wayne is survived by his wife of 37 years Elizabeth (Betty) Tippett, son Scott Tippett, Grandson, Mason and Granddaughter, Victoria and Daughter-in-Law, Cecilia.

 Wayne was a quiet man, believed in the truth and that we should respect each other and treat people with kindness. He was very active and loved working outside. His son, Scott introduced Wayne to running his first 5K and he enjoyed it so much he ran in several marathons up to 30ks. He enjoyed hunting deer, turkey and fox with his son and working on many projects. Wayne retired from Verizon.
