William Joseph Baker Sr., also known as Bill and Pop-Pop, was born on April 4, 1937. He passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 83. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and enjoyed going out to restaurants to meet and catch up. He also enjoyed watching sports in his free time. In particular, he was a huge fan of the Washington Redskins/Football Team and loved watching NASCAR races. He owned several antique vehicles and had a passion for participating in car shows. He was proud to have served in the Army of the United States from 1955 to 1958. He eventually retired as a United States Air Force civilian, where he was a mechanic on Andrews Air Force Base, located in Clinton, Maryland. After retirement, William, along with his wife and son, moved to Unionville, Virginia, where they appreciated a rural and slower lifestyle. He is survived by his son (William Baker Jr. – 58), three grandchildren (Christopher Dent – 36, Brandon Dent – 34, Rickey Kidd Jr. – 23), and 5 grandchildren (London Dent – 8, Ava Dent – 8, Ana Dent – 6, Brandon Dent Jr. – 4, Christopher Dent II – 3). He was a great man and will be missed by many people!
