William Joseph Chappell (Joe) Chief Master SergeantWilliam Joseph Chappell, 86, of Clinton, MD passed away March 4, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Edna Chappell; son, David Chappell; Daughter-in-law, Maureen Chappell; granddaughter, Sarah Chappell; and grandson, Michael Chappell. He was preceded in death by his son, William Joseph Chappell, Jr. Joe served 34 years and 5 months in the US Army Air Corp and the US Air Force. He was assigned to Air Force One as the flight engineer his last 19 years. He served Presidents Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, and Carter. Funeral services and interment at Arlington National Cemetery at 3:00 P.M. October 7, 2015.
