William David Cockrell, of Upper Marlboro, MD passed at his residence on Monday, April 8, 2019 at the age of 70 years. Born in Washington, DC he is the son of the late Mary Alice (Shealy) Cockrell and Acie William Cockrell. Dear brother of Ellen Shealy of Washington, DC, Rose Mary Miller and her husband Harry B. Cox of Silver Spring MD and the late Acie Louis Cockrell, Charles Patrick Cockrell and Frank Cockrell; dear uncle of John Robert Barham, John Cockrell, Tina Cockrell and Tambra Miller; great uncle of Brittany Jefferson, Brianna Davis, Jordon Davis and Justin Davis.
