William L. Kemp Jr.

William L. Kemp Jr. 1947 - 2014 William L. Kemp Jr.,66, of Suitland, MD on Monday March 31, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born in Siluria, AL he was the first son of the late William L. and Eloise E. (Jackson) Kemp. After serving his country as a United States Navy seaman, Bill enjoyed a thirty year career as a flight attendant, most recently with American Airlines where he retired in 2008. He loved world travel, science fiction movies, and was an electronics and luxury car buff. He enjoyed soccer and was a committed Manchester United fan. He was active in his church on the choir and as a lector. He is survived by three brothers; Donald "Ray"(Cathy), Charles, and Reginald(Suzie) Kemp, a sister Dr. Daisy Ogene (Obi), several nieces and nephews and many valued friends.
