Mr. William P. Lasner

William (Bill) Paul Lasner (86) was called home Saturday November 12th at his residence in Upper Marlboro, MD. Born April 3, 1930 in Verona, New Jersey to Jacob and Sarah Lasner. Bill served in the United States Air Force for 20 yrs. He was a decorated veteran and Purple Heart recipient, serving in the Korean Conflict. Following his military service, Bill became a Senior Tech at Xerox for 30 years, spending 20 of those years at CIA Headquarters in Langley, VA. He was a member for over 40 yrs. of The Knights of Columbus- St. Pius X Forestville, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and served as an officer in Suitland Moose Lodge. Bill is survived by his wife Carmela Mary of over 65 years and his son Russell (Donna). His eldest son, Richard William Lasner predeceased him. He will be laid to rest at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham on November 22nd at 2:30 pm. Repast will follow at The Knights of Columbus in Forestville, MD.
