On November 3, 2023, William (Bill) E. Miller, 79, of Churchton, Maryland, passed away peacefully at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, Maryland after a long illness.
Bill was born in Washington DC on July 19, 1944, to Dora Bell Miller and William E. Miller. He was an IT troubleshooter for the Library of Congress for 40 years. He enjoyed a post-retirement job driving for Lexus of Annapolis, where he made many friends. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife to Florida to visit family, and they also traveled to Hawaii, Aruba, Bermuda, and Europe.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia Lepore and Beverly Taylor.
He is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Judi Miller of Churchton, his brother, Albert Miller, special cousins Carolyn and Dick Gatewood and their daughter Laura Morris and her husband Craig, Deanna Havenner, Terri Young, Betty Ryon, David Birkett, John Bell, Edward Bell, his uncle Eddie Bell, nephews Billy Lepore, Johnny Lepore, Joey Lepore, Jim Miller and niece Debbie Hutson, and many other members of his large family, with whom he was very close.
Also surviving him are Judi’s three children, Cheryl Kimm and her husband Dennis, Cindy Finamore and her husband Mike, and Joe Belt and his wife Stacy, her ten grandchildren Stephanie, Michael, Stacey, Meagan, Joshua, Matthew, Kara, Kelsea, Madeleine and Jason and her nine great-grandchildren, Devon, Landon, Maddox, Calvin, Ava, Emelia, Vincent, Ryan and Audrey, and Judi’s special niece Sue Nicholas and her husband Keith, daughter Carolyn Prince and granddaughter Olivia.
A viewing and service was held on November 13, 2023 at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736.
