William Ray Sturgill Sr.

William R. Sturgill, Sr. of Annapolis, Maryland passed away on February 10, 2022. He was born in Imboden, Virginia and at the age of 18 joined the United States Air Force and served for 4 years, a retired District of Columbia fire fighter and retired from the United States Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Home. He was preceded in death by his parents: Myrel & Cora Sturgill, brothers: James Sturgill, Ralph Sturgill, Lawrence Sturgill (Janie), sisters: Imogene Kilbourne (Luther) and Helen Albin (Ron), wife: Margery and son: William, Jr. He is survived by his children: Jamie and Eddie, brothers: Bob (Janet) and Ronald (Shirley), grandchildren: Kacie, Michelle and Alexcie, great grandchildren: Leah and Billy, former spouse Carol, numerous family members and friends.
