William Lawrence Zegowitz Jr

William (Bill) Lawrence Zegowitz, Jr., 82, of Waldorf, MD passed away at the Hospice House of Charles County on September 13, 2016. Born on May 18, 1934 in Washington D.C. to the late William Lawrence Zegowitz and Mary L. Daykin. Bill retired as a Statistician from the U.S. Department of Agriculture with 42 years of service. He enjoyed listening to talk radio, watching the TV series Law & Order, bowling, playing poker and watching the World Series. Bill is predeceased by his wife, Catherine McVearry Zegowitz. Bill is survived by his children, Sharon Lord (James), Bill Zegowitz (Kathryn), Michael Zegowitz (Patty), and Carol Watson (David). 9 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 12 noon until the funeral service at 1 pm also at Lee Funeral Home, 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton, MD 20735. Officiating the Service will be Pastor Roberto Hinds. Interment will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD. In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the HOSPICE OF CHARLES COUNTY, INC.
