Willie Lee Harkless, Jr.On Monday, February 27, 2006 at the V.A. Hospital in Washington, DC, after battling a long illness.The beloved father of Crystal Nichole Peterson, Bridgette Diane and Deitra Shavon Harkless. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Ricardo Willie, Tamera Kathleen and Richard Alonzo Peterson;his parents, Willie Lee and Bertha J. Harkless, Sr.; his siblings, Wilhelmna, Xavier and Cornelius Bruce Harkless; a host of other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathleen C. "Cookie" Harkless and his oldest sister, Diane Harkless. Willie was employed and on the Board of Directors of Harkless Construction, Inc. for a number of years.
