Willie Lewis, Jr. Retired Air Force Staff Sergeant, passed away of heart failure on November 18, 2004 at Malcolm Grow Hospital, Andrews Air Force Base in Camp Springs, MD.Willie Lewis , Jr. was the eldest son of the late Willie Lewis, Sr. and bertha jones. at an early age he joined the military and while stationed in Pensacola, Florida met and married his wife of 54 years, Victoria Lewis.Mr. Lewis leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Victoria Lewis; nine children, Willie Lewis, III of Upper Marlboro, MD, Jennifer Lewis-Gooden of Largo, MD. James Lewis of Washington, DC, Barbara Lewis of Oxon Hill, MD,. Janis Lewis Johnson of Washignton, DC, Patricia Lewis of Capital heights, MD, Christopher Lewis of Upper Marlboro, MD, Deborah Lewis of Temple Hills, MD and Sherita Matthews of Clinton, MD; 22 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister; and six brothers.
