Willie James Scott\n \n"Scotty"\n \nNovember 4, 1937-September 5, 2011\n \nBorn in Thomas Co. in Thomasville, Ga. to the late Mary Ella James Scott and to the late Ernest Scott, Sr.\n \nIn his early childhood, he confessed Christ and joined Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church.\n \nHis formal education was in Georgia Public School system. Mr. Scott, came to Washington, DC in the late 50's Where he met the love of his life. He and Rosa were wed into holy matrimony. Unto the union 3 siblings were born.\n \nMr. Scott, was a baker and loved to bake. For many years he was employed by Giant Food Corp., DC Transit/Metro, Katz Food, Four Seasons restaurant, DC taxicab corporation.\n \nHe was a avid golfer, member of United States Golfers Association(USGA), and a true horseman.\n \nHe leaves to mourn a devoted family Wife Rosa, daughter Sylvia, sons Zachery and Keith. One daughter in law Nicol, 2 grandkids Keith James ("K.J"), Keila Nicol ("K"), 2 step grand Eugene, Eric, 10 siblings; late Peter (Thomasville , Ga), Berthene (MD), John C III (DC), Barbara (Tampa, Florida), Beatrice (Jacksonville, Florida), Ernest Jr. (Thomasville, GA), JoAnne (Ohio), late Doris (Thomasville, Georgia), Wayne (Thomasville, Georgia), Frank (Tampa, Florida); a host of many relatives and friends.\n \nHe will be dearly missed by his loved ones.\n\n \n To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Willie James Scott please visit our Sympathy Store.
