August 4, 1962 — August 11, 2012

Wolford Alexander Redfearn On August 11, 2012, Wolford Alexander Redfearn, 50, passed away after a very lengthy illness. For the last several years, he resided at NMS Healthcare of Hagerstown which is located in a very quiet picturesque setting within the tri-state region of Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The nursing facility is located at 14014 Marsh Pike, Hagerstown MD, 21742.Wolford was born on August 4, 1962 to Shirley Redfearn and Arthur McQueen. The family relocated to the District of Columbia where he was educated and lived most of his life. Wolford had an incredible artistic talent for drawing and painting. He was truly gifted and dreamed of becoming an architect or a graphic artist. As a youth, he was fun-loving, happy and boisterous. He was athletic, full of energy and enjoyed being a "big brother" to his younger siblings. He was also a very sensitive, kind and caring individual who took the time to express his concern and compassion for others, especially his family. Sadly, as a result of several psychological and medical maladies his dreams of being an artist and pursuing a career along that path was not meant to be. He was diagnosed with severe depression and a bi-polar condition early on in his pre-teen years and battled it throughout his life. He also suffered with several other serious physical ailments. He is survived by his parents, two sisters, Debra Moriarty and Bonita Redfearn, and three brothers, Richard Redfearn, Turo Redfearn, and Michael Clark.Family and friends will be received on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 10:30am to time of service at 11:30am in the Chapel of Lee Funeral Home, Inc.6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton, Maryland 20735(301) 868-0900Interment will immediately follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery8000 Woodyard RoadClinton, MD 20735(301)-868-5141 To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Wolford Alexander Redfearn please visit our Sympathy Store.
