Zachary Elliot Melbyaffectionately known as “Zach” age 52 of Odenton, MD passed away suddenly October 21, 2014. Born on November 24, 1961 in Washington, DC he is the loving son of Frances Bowie Melby and William P. Melby. Beloved husband of Lisa Smoak Melby; devoted father of Lori Antoinette Melby and Zachary E. Melby, Jr. of Odenton, MD; dearest Papa of Brea Antoinette Melby-Gilliam; dear brother of William Melby, Jr. (Vickie) of Sterling, VA; loving brother-in-law of Karen Green of Bowie, MD, Patricia Prestwood (Oscar) of Upper Marlboro, Md, Brenda of Washington, DC, and Gregory Smoak of Vienna, Va, Bernard Jr. of Waldorf, Md, loving nephew of Emma Robinson and Willie Bowie of Greenwood, SC. Also survived by five nephews Gregory Jr. Bernard III, Kevin, Keith, Brandon, and eight nieces Kia, Hailey, Alise, Staria, Kendra, Monique, India, and Felisha.
